Our Anniversary Giveaway! Woot Woot!

Funny how time flies when you're having fun.
We started this blogging journey a little over a year ago and had no clue what we were doing. Along the way, we've made some great friends, redesigned the blog, learned that word verification was the killer of all comments, and countless other blogging rules of engagement.
To celebrate our one year adventure we gotta have a giveaway of course no?
And in true Miami fashion, it's gotta be loud, it's gotta be the mother of all giveaways, with not one one, but two freaking prizes for two freaking winners.
Hold on to your hats people, hold on.
First up, our friends at our local West Elm (Village At Gulfstream) have offered up one of these swanky Martini side tables. Yep, you get to sip martini on one of these bad boys. I've used these in a project, or three, and they are hella cool.

Then Miss Holly over at GlamourMash was also generous enough to donate a necklace from her awesome collection. I purchased the Nicole necklace recently and can't wait to rock it out this summer. The winner can have the necklace of their choice.

That's it. Two awesome prizes. Two winners. You know the rules.
You must follow us on Google Friend Connect (GFC) and Bloglovin.
Bonus points for following us on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook.
Follow West Elm and GlamourMash.
That's a whole lot a following right? But what's a little follow love for these goodies? Our giveaway ends next Friday, May 17 -  on my very own "21st" birthday. Winners will be announced on Monday, May 20. Good luck Peeps! Now go on and win them prizes!

Do You Know What Today Is? It's Our Anniversary

Well, it really isn't my anniversary, but I couldn't resist that line from one of my favorite groups, Tony Toni Tone. Alas, we're still on our real life and blogging vacay, so today we'll have the amazing Albertina from Mimosa Lane dishing about wedding anniversary gifts.

This is Albertina from Mimosa Lane and I'm so excited to be here at Live, Laugh Decorate today.  Nicole was one of my first blogger friends.  It has been so exciting watching her blog and business grow in this last year.  I just adore her room reveals.  They are always such beautiful and dramatic transformations.   Today, I have some yummy jewelry ideas for anniversary gifts.  So many people get married in the Spring, so I'm sure many of you have anniversaries coming up.  Mine was just last week (eight years!), and so I rounded up a group of beauties to get your  inspiration juices flowing.

I divided my selection into Silver and Gold, and within these High and Low  (keep in mind these high and low prices are all relative!]  You know which pieces are my fave? and represent to me the biggest bang for your buck?  Numbers 4 , 5 , and 6 in the Silver version.  These beauties are made in silver but plated in 18K gold and of course with some beautiful stones added.  The designs are so fun and daring.  This designer, Irene Zingg, really is inspired and has some amazing pieces that can easily be passed down from generation to generation.  These pieces just make me swoon!  I hope you are pampered on your anniversaries!

Which are your favorites?

Happy Anniversary.....

Two years ago today, I married the love of my life.
A true friend, confidant, supporter, cheerleader; someone who's seen me at my worst and never cared. I'd marry him all over again, in a heartbeat.
Happy Anniversary babes.

The Gazebo at Moon Dance Cliff Resorts, Negril, Jamaica

My amazing niece, who woke up this morning and reminded everyone it was our anniversary.

Oh Lord, how much I love these Pour La Victoire shoes. Sadly, they can no longer fit. Perils of feet that grew a size during pregnancy, but never got the memo to return to normal.

Family style eating - my favorite recommendation for large events - for the reception.

Patrick having his own Paparazzi moment!
My brother Craig, quite the soccer player in Jamaica, walked me down the aisle.
Okay, we got a bit emotional.

We do!

Psst, hey you, what you doing later?
Yes, we had a large bridal party and yet with just 75 guests, a pretty small wedding.

My husband's childhood friends turned groomsmen. They are just as silly as he is so it's never a dull moment when they all get together.
Headed down by the cliffs for some photos. Notice that all the 6" heels have been removed. lol

And then the party got started...
The hubs and his groomsmen serenaded me. Okay, his singing skills are a bit suspect, but you would have thought they were New Edition! They were killing it! A fun and complete surprise because no one had any clue this was going down.

My friends and family know how to get down! I did not share the most scandalous dance photos. They were too scandalous! Really scandalous!

Two of Xavier's Godmothers getting down!

That's all folks.

As you know, the lil man is still under the weather so we will likely have a candle light dinner for three at the house this evening. Again, I would do this all over again, including the wedding! We had that much fun.
p.s
This is my favorite anniversary song, which will probably be playing all day on my Pandora.
