An English Pub...the best view of the Olympics.

I'm woman enough to admit when I've made an error in judgement. Previously, I was angling for invites to watch the Olympics on the other side of the pond here and here. I should have known that the best place to share in the Olympic spirit would be an English Pub.
First by soaking up the quaint ambiance..

Then sampling the pub fare..

Then after a few pints of beer I guess it's safe to say I'll end up looking something like this..but repping the yellow, green and black, of course.

How have you been cheering on your home team? Has the neighborhood bar now become your favorite hangout? Or have you been cheering for the home team from your trusty sofa with your own bottle of beer in hand?

Dreaming of London Town Part 2

TGIF!!!!!!!!

This has been one crazy week with the website relaunch, juggling all our design projects, sending out last minute proposals in addition to full time jobs.  I think we could sleep for two days straight...lol. But since there's no rest for the weary, we'll gladly take the two days off from our full time gigs.

As the count down continues to the Summer Olympics in London, I thought it would be only fitting to stalk another fabulous London pad.  Today, it's the penthouse of interior designer Peter Mikic and TV producer Sebastian Scott. The moment I saw photos of Mikic and Scott's London penthouse in Elle Decor I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I know it was featured in the April issue, so I'm little late to the party, but heck, better late than never. Take a gander and you'll see what I mean.

If I had this bathroom I'd be late for work everyday.....and a massive water bill. Hello....hour long showers. Ain't it just too perfect for words.

That fire place is insane...right?

I'm trying to figure out which wall I could knock down  in my house so I too can fit a couch in my bathroom...hehe

Which room is your favorite? I wish they would establish a sport that was all about house stalking for this year's Summer Olympics. I would definitely get more gold medals than Phelps and Bolt combined....lol.

Have a safe and adventurous weekend. See you on the flip side.

Dreaming of London Town

With the Summer Olympics in London less than three weeks away, I'm sure even if I had the money, and the time off from work to attend, I'm guessing there's not an available room within a hundred miles of all the major events.  Maybe I can try and snag an invite to the amazing designing duo Paolo Maschino and Philip Vergeylen's London home. Check out the guestroom and bath and you'll see why I'm chomping at the bit for an invite, plus the rest of the house is just absolutely divine.

Guest Bedroom...they must really like guests staying over. Who would want to leave after staying here...especially if it's attached to this guest bath.

Since my invitation got lost in the mail, I guess like the last time and the time before, that I'll be watching the drama unfold on television. The time difference might be a killer but hallelujah for DVR...I wouldn't want to miss a moment of the Phelps vs Lochte showdown, or the battle as it unfolds between Bolt and Blake. In addition to all the other surprises the games are bound to deliver.

Who are you rooting for? Any hints on who you think will be the golden athlete for the 2012 summer games?

Have a safe and relaxing weekend. See you on the flip side.
