Brand. Me.

Nine years ago, a little hobby I had of decorating my own home, then a friend's, then another friend's turned into a little business. Along came one successful partnership with the BFF, then two not so successful partnerships, and by 2009 I'd had enough with partnerships. 

True, I was scared. You see, I knew I had the skills, but that pesky voice of self doubt, the one that tells you you're not good enough, not smart enough, and definitely not professionally trained in the art of interior design, had hounded me all those years. I was a journalist for crying out loud, who would really ever believe in my designs?

Three years and many, many happy clients later, I've finally come into my own. I've finally found a logo that I think represents me well, one that I'll be proud to see on display at future events. 

I'm finally proud of this website (and believe me, I've had a few sites over the years) and the body of work it's able to highlight. 

And wow, really proud of this new online store venture and the endless possibilities that it represents.

A huge shout-out to the amazingly talented graphic/web designer, Sean M Field at Cre8Sean. I met Sean years ago on a birthday trip to Barbados, and we've been friends ever since. This is his second web design for me and he nails it every time. He is quite a force and his talent knows no boundaries.
